Fifteen people, including three women and a child, were killed and thirty others injured when a bus overturned on the National Highway, 30 km away from Khanpur on Friday night, Geo News reported Saturday. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sheikh Abid said a Karachi-bound bus carrying 45 passengers was on its way from Peshawar which turned turtle due to speeding near Zafarabad. As a result, nine passengers died on the spot while 36 others sustained critical injuries. Six others later succumbed to their injuries during treatment. The injured were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan and Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur.
