Ministry of Higher Education won the 17th Middle East Award for Excellence for e-Government services organized by the Institute for Middle East Award for Excellence in the Emirate of Dubai through the electronic system, "Safeer" of the Ministry of Higher Education. Under Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Planning and Information Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Qadir Al-Fantoukh received the award last night at a ceremony to distribute the award during the annual conference of electronic government and services in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Under Secretary of the Ministry said that the electronic system "Safeer" offers its services to all Saudi students pursuing their academic studies abroad.
