A cache containing over 100 kilograms of explosives was eliminated in Dagestan on Sunday, the National Counter Terrorism Committee told Itar-Tass. "The search of a forest near the village Kadyrkent in the Sergokali district of Dagestan yielded a cache containing plenty of explosives and armaments. In all, the police found seven handmade bombs, each of 15 to 17 kilograms, plenty of bomb ingredients, two RPG Shmel grenade launchers, drugs and syringes," the committee said. "In the opinion of the operative staff in Dagestan, the militants planned to use the bombs in terror attacks in the Sergokali and adjoining districts," it said.
