JEDDAH: The Saudi Building International Exhibition (SBIE) will kick off on April 25 at the Jeddah Exhibition Center. Prince Mish'al Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah, will inaugurate the event. Apart from the 100 exhibitors from Saudi Arabia, more than 80 exhibitors from Malaysia, France, Germany, Pakistan, Egypt, United Arab Emirate, Turkey and China will take part in the special construction show. “Saudi Building Industries Exhibition (SBIE) is the most established exhibition serving the building and construction industry for the past 20 years covering the sectors of building, construction, refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning, heating, safety, security and fire prevention”, said Zahoor Siddique, Vice President of Al-Harithi Company for Exhibition. The four-day exhibition starting April 25 will also include special forums that will discuss issues related to construction definition, professional management of construction projects, quality of construction material, smart green building, unnecessary expansion of projects and the Singapore construction experience and the value of engineering applications in maintenance. One of the objectives of the exhibition is to supply the construction needs of the Kingdom's cities especially Jeddah, which has recently seen many development projects like KAAIA (King Abdul Aziz International Airport) and the new Haramain Train Project which will make transportation easier between Makkah, Jeddah and Madina. The SBIE will be held in cooperation with the Saudi Quality Council and Al-Harithi Company for Exhibition and will open from 5 P.M to 10 P.M.
