LONDON: Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom Monday signed here a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of healthcare. Prince Mohammed Bin Nawaf Bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, was present during the signing ceremony. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health, and Andrew Wensley, British Minister of State for Health. The MoU covers important aspects of health, including the exchange of experience and training. Al-Rabeah met Wensley, who is also a member of British Parliament, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador, at Parliament House Monday evening. During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of the bilateral health cooperation between the two countries. Al-Rabeah also visited King's College Hospital in London where he was briefed by senior officials on the British healthcare system. Al-Rabeah also toured an electronic health care unit where he listened to a briefing on its facilities and services.
