King to patronize science conference

RIYADH: King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is scheduled to patronize the second Science Conference for Female and Male Students of Higher Education, in Jeddah on Sunday, being organized by the Ministry of Higher Education. More than 32 government and private universities will take part in the conference.
Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Ouhali, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs and chairman of the organizing committee, said the major goal of the conference is to widen and develop a culture of scientific research among Saudi university students and to upgrade their standards.
