AHSA: The security authorities in Hail have arrested three Saudi brothers aged between 10 and 30 who were allegedly involved in carrying out six robberies and acts of pick-pocketing. Al-Mubarraz Police Station received a report that a woman in her twenties was injured when unidentified persons riding a small car snatched her handbag while she was walking. The police received several other reports by women who had also been robbed in similar circumstances at different times in Al-Hofouf and Al-Mubarraz over the past few days. Lt. Col. Ziyad Al-Riqaiti, spokesman for the Eastern Province Police, said the security authorities took all the necessary measures in response to the reports. Information was passed to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and in a short time security officers managed to spot one of the suspects. He was kept under surveillance, arrested and handed over to Al-Mubarraz Police Station.
