MADINA: Madina Police have begun sending out anti-smoking text messages to its staff as part of a campaign to promote the awareness of the dangers of tobacco use. Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri, head of Madina Police's Guidance and Instruction Department, said that the force is working with Health Affairs and its anti-smoking program in the region to run the campaign. “It includes lectures and exhibitions as well as a mobile clinic with equipment that removes nicotine from the body,” Al-Tuwaijri said. “The anti-smoking phone messages are sent to all employees of General Security via SMS and MMS messages.”
