SMS Catering capped a memorable opening ceremony at the King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) Summer Sports Tournament in Jeddah KAMC-MC2 Multi-Purpose ground and romped away with the Best in Uniform in Basketball and Volleyball along with the Best Muse, Pat De Leon in Basketball and Jocelyn Alturas in a tie with Maria May Ann Exibia of the ITC in the Volleyball event. In a colorful opening ceremony before a capacity crowd, the tournament promised team competitions in basketball, men's volleyball, ladies volleyball and men's singles tennis, men's badminton and women's badminton. The Philippine Consul General General, Ezzedine Tago, Eng. Mohammad Al-Jifri-Director of Employee Social Club, Hamoud Naomi, the District Sales Manager of Qatar Airways, Omar Basubrain and Hassnah Dammas (Residents, Department of Medicine), Fathe Taleb Huneef (Nurse Manager Um-Salam Clinic) and Nagy Szitty (Deputy Manager-Radiotherapy) graced the opening ceremony. Hosted by Tonton Raquion and Iya Arinzana, raffle prizes from various sponsors were given away during the ceremony. Ernesto Castro took home the biggest raffle draw, a Jeddah-Manila-Jeddah round trip ticket, courtesy of Qatar Airways.
