(Okaz photo) TABUK: The Civil Defense in Tabuk has been put on alert as rain and snow fell Monday night and Tuesday in Tabuk region's Allouz and Tafha towns, and heavy rain fell in Haql and Dheba governorates. Sulaiman Al-Huwaiti, Director of the Civil Defense in Tabuk, said safety patrols were deployed to check the thickness and volume of the snow. He called on motorists to abide by speed limits under these conditions. He added that Civil Defense vehicles were ready to intervene in case of any emergency. The Saudi Red Crescent has positioned three teams at Mountain Allouz and Mountain Alqan. Muhammad Al-Najjar, Chief of the Traffic Police in Tabuk, called on motorists not to drive deep into the snow to avoid losing control of their cars. Hussein Al-Qahtani of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, said rainfall will continue in the Kingdom's northern regions, especially Jouf and Tabuk.
