TAIF: Saudi Arabia is taking part in the World Theater Symposium which starts Wednesday in the Azerbaijan capital Baku. Representing the Kingdom at the two-day event is Ibrahim Asiri of UNESCO's International Theater Institute (ITI), who will offer his insight into the development and achievements of Saudi theater as well as his choice of “two of the best Saudi dramatists” to run the ITI office in Taif. Asiri, known in the Kingdom's drama world as the “Ambassador of Saudi Playwrights”, will also take part later this month in a forum in the UAE emirate of Sharjah on children's theater.
