MADINA: The owner of a school in Qubaa' in Madina has made the historic Ghars Well accessible to the public again after the authorities were alerted by press reports that he had painted and incorporated the site into the school perimeter wall. Okaz/Saudi Gazette reported late last week that the owner had merged the site into the private school's property, beside a shaded staff parking lot and the school sports ground. The owner was quoted as saying that he had “done no wrong”, claiming the well lay on property he has owned for 40 years. Renowned local historian Tanaidhib Al-Faidi said the well was one of the seven mentioned in authenticated Hadiths.
