YANBU: A private airline will start operating three weekly flights from Yanbu to Dubai, from Yanbu's Prince Abdul Muhsin Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport from November 23. The flights currently are scheduled to take place on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are plans to change the schedule at the beginning of next year. The airline said it will use a 737-800, 189-passenger aircraft for the route. From Dubai flights will continue to other international destinations including the Philippines, India, Pakistan and other Asian countries. The new route is the second international destination for Yanbu. Flights to and from Cairo were started at the end of 2009.
