Oil and gas confab kicks off in EP

DHAHRAN: The Third Saudi Arabia International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (SAOGE) opens Sundayat the Dhahran International Exhibition Center (Dhahran Expo) under the patronage of Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd, Governor of the Eastern Province.
Organizers said more than 265 companies –consisting of 115 international and 150 local firms engaged in oil, gas, petrochemical, water, power, manufacturing, telecommunications and logistics from over 30 countries – are participating in event, the biggest in the region focusing on oil and gas sectors.
The conference and exhibition will cover oil and gas exploration, production, production processes, environmental aspects, the economics of the oil and gas sector, management and marketing of offshore hydrocarbon and other topics.
