Jeraisy, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, has said that private sector companies “cannot be forced to take on young Saudi staff”. Speaking on the margins of the Arab Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility in the capital, Al-Jeraisy said: “We need to get young Saudis ready for work, and most Saudi companies are looking to recruit young Saudis to join in the labor market with them.” He noted that the Riyadh Chamber provided training for both male and female Saudis. “We have helped 12,000 young men and women find employment,” he said. “We would once again ask national companies to help in serving society.”
