Prince Faisal Bin Khaled Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Asir region, and Abdul Salik Khan, Consul General of Pakistan, Monday discussed matters of mutual interest. The Consul General apprised the Emir of some urgent problems faced by the Pakistani community in the region, including repatriation of the remains of deceased Pakistanis, the provision of space for cricket grounds for the community and the pending arrest of the murderer of a Pakistani national in the region. The Emir assured the Consul General that these issues would be resolved on a priority basis, a press release issued here said. The Consul General congratulated Prince Faisal on the Kingdom's National Day. He said the Kingdom has made enormous progress under the sagacious leadership of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. – SG Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, he said, enjoyed close fraternal relations which have stood the test of time. He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were strategic partners and that the two states share a common strategic vision.
