Essential government offices and local chambers of commerce will begin their work on Sept. 11, to provide assistance to emergency cases, according to a bulletin released by the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce in Eastern Province. The offices that will be opened will be manned and managed by skeleton staff for three days, from Sept. 11 to 13. They will work from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. The Passports Department offices in Dammam and Al- Khobar will be operating during the said period. The branches of the Asharqia Chamber in Jubail, Al-Khobar, and Dammam will also be opened from Sep. 11 to 13 to assist businessmen and the public. International schools will be closed for the Eid Al-Fitr from September 11 to 14, and will resume classes on Sept. 15. Indispensable services, such as those provided by medical institutions and police (including traffic), will remain operational, the bulletin said.
