ACC will take on Bharath Cultural Center (BCC) in the First Division final of the 13th SIFF-JNH Soccer 2010 at the Sharbatly ground here Friday. It's a dream come true season for ACC as its B team also stormed into the final in the Second Division where it will fight it out with Rainbow for trophy. The finals will begin at 5 P.M. Friday. In the semifinals played last week, Western Union-ACC prevailed over Blue Star A by a solitary goal scored by former Viva Kerala player Ahmed Malik. The second semifinal rose to the occasion and BCC stunned Mohsen Cargo Friends 2-0. Strikers Sakeer and Shanavaz were the scorers for BCC. In the Second Division semifinals, a depleted Alpha Cargo Indian School lost heavily to Rainbow 4-0. The school team which had impressed in this championship missed some of its key players who left for India on holidays. Najeeb, Mohammed Unni and Siyad (2) scored for Rainbow. The semifinal between ACC-B and Blue Star-B was decided by shootout as the teams shared two goals in the regulation time. After Fairoz put ACC-B in the lead Abu Uragam levelled the score for Blue Star-B. ACC goalkeeper Riyad Mohammed stole the show in the penalty shootout by saving the first three shots of Blue Star.
