Some patients sent by the Ministry of Health abroad for treatment have not returned to the Kingdom after the expiry of their rehabilitation phase. Dr. Fahd Al-Sudairi, Director General of the Medical Commissions and Health Offices Overseas said that the patients refuse to come back fearing relapse of their diseases. They are also apprehensive that once they come back they will have to endure a long waiting list at government hospitals in the Kingdom. Dr. Al-Sudairi said the ministry has forced over 60 patients to return to the Kingdom following the end of their period of treatment in the US and several other European countries including Germany. Al-Sudairi said all facilities for their treatment are available in the Kingdom. – Okaz __
