Humaid, Deputy Minister of Labor, has asked the Indonesian Minister of Labor to resolve pending issues concerning the recruitment of domestic workers to the Kingdom. On the sidelines of the International Labor Conference meetings in Geneva Wednesday, Al-Humaid asked minister Muhaiman Iskandar to halt the exploitation of workers by recruitment offices and accelerate the sending of domestic help in order to “maintain the high level of cooperation between the two countries.” The Indonesian minister responded by promising to regulate the recruitment process and address the other issues.
