The first group of martyrs' families arrived Tuesday, from Tabuk, at King Abdul Aziz International Airport on spiritual journeys to the holy cities of Makkah and Madina sponsored by Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA). Further groups from different parts of the Kingdom are scheduled to arrive at various other times. Crown Prince Sultan has praised the national carrier for taking the families of martyrs, said Khaled Al-Molhem, Director General of SAA, who had submitted the initiative to the Crown Prince. Al-Molhem said the move is part of SAA's social responsibility as a national air carrier to a “precious” segment of the country. Al-Molhem pointed out that hosting these families show that the airline is proud of the “great sacrifice” the martyrs made to defend their nation.
