Infant rescued from flat fire

Firefighters rescued a three-month-old child from a burning apartment in the Madina district of Al-Anabis on Sunday. Six fire crews were sent to the second-floor apartment and after being informed of the girl's presence broke in to extract her from the flames and smoke. Officials said that initial investigations suggested the blaze was caused by a short circuit.
