Toulouse rallied to win a record fourth Heineken Cup as flyhalf David Skrela tallied 15 points to help clinch a 21-19 victory over Biarritz in the final Saturday. The six-time finalist fought back from 6-0 behind after 20 minutes at Stade de France, and deprived its Top 14 rival from a first European crown. Biarritz center Karmichael Hunt scored the sole try of the game in the 73rd minute and teammate Dimitri Yachivili kicked 12 points in the third all-French final of Europe's elite competition. “The last 10 minutes made us shiver,” Toulouse manager Guy Noves told a press conference. “Biarritz's try made the end of the game more interesting but I have the feeling we were always on top of the game and it's a well deserved title.” Stormers beat NSW In Cape Town, the Stormers reached their first Super 14 final with a 25-6 win over the New South Wales Waratahs at Newlands Saturday. The Stormers will play the defending champion Bulls in Soweto in just the second all-South African final in Super rugby history. Center Juan de Jongh sent the Stormers on their way to victory with the game's only try, his first in Super rugby, when he sidestepped three players midway through the first half. Stormers flyhalf Peter Grant kicked 20 points, including four second-half penalties. The competition's best defensive team did not concede a point for the final 65 minutes of the match, after Berrick Barnes' 25th-minute drop goal. Bulls down Crusaders In Johannesburg, the defending champion Bulls beat the Canterbury Crusaders 39-24 in their semifinal in Soweto on Saturday to edge closer to a third Super 14 rugby title in four years. Pierre Spies, Zane Kirchner and Fourie du Preez scored tries for the Bulls, and Springboks No. 10 Morne Steyn kicked 24 points to lead the Bulls to a second successive home final. The Crusaders also crossed the tryline three times, through captain Richie McCaw, Sean Maitland and Sam Whitelock, but Steyn proved the difference with six penalties and three conversions as he broke the record for the most points by a player in a Super 14 season. The final will be at Soweto's Orlando Stadium next Saturday, with the Bulls' Loftus Versfeld out of action because of the football World Cup.
