Saudi Cultural Week under way in Doha

Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, and Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Hamad Al-Kuwar, launched in Doha on Sunday the Saudi Cultural Week in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Ahmed Al-Qahtani. Speaking at the ceremony, held as Doha celebrates its status as Capital of Arab Culture 2010, Minister Khoja spoke of close relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and the “importance of culture in relations between the peoples of the world”.
