Faisal, Emir of Makkah Province, will launch a number of health care projects in Taif city and the governorates of Al-Khurma, Turba and Ranya with a total cost of more than SR86 million during his visit to the region that started Saturday. During the three-day visit, the Emir will lay the foundation stone of seven primary health care centers in different locations. The projects include a new hospital in Dhulum and expansions and new departments at existing hospitals. The Director of Health Affairs Department in Taif Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Abdullah Karkman said work is under way for awarding bids for two hospitals at a cost of SR610 million as well as the current execution of health projects at a cost of SR404 million.
