A clock tower lies uprooted on a Dammam road after thundershowers accompanied by heavy rains hit the Eastern Province Friday evening, leaving roads covered with water in Jubail and other low-lying areas. Several areas in and around Dammam, Al-Khobar, Qatif, Saihath and Al-Hassa were waterlogged. Motorists had a hard time reaching their destinations especially in low-lying areas in the 1st Industrial City and Ibn Khaldoun areas. Met officials expect the inclement weather to continue for two or three days.
