King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has received an honorary doctorate for Service to Science and Medical Education from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. The doctorate was presented during the King Abdullah's reception of the university's Council of Trustees at the Royal Court at Al-Yamama Palace in Riyadh Tuesday. In April this year the King pledged SR1 billion for the construction of a medical city in Bahrain to be an affiliate of the university.
