Turkey's agriculture minister said on Monday that Turkey and Saudi Arabia exchanged views on areas of cooperation in agriculture, industry and trade. Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker met Saudi Arabian Industry & Commerce Minister Abdallah Bin Zainal Ali Reza, who is currently in Turkey for formal talks. Speaking to reporters, Eker referred to the visit of Saudi King to Turkey, and said that Turkey and Saudi Arabia had taken some principle decisions to make cooperation in agriculture, industry and several other areas during that visit. “Today`s visit is a technical one. We have examined matters to take tangible steps,” he said. Saudi minister said that Saudi Arabia attached importance to improvement of relations with Turkey in economic areas.
