The King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, otherwise known as Mawhiba, are taking part in the First Scientific Conference for Higher Education Students which opened in the capital Monday with a pavilion promoting its work. The Mawhiba pavilion will over the four days of the event host a variety of activities promoting its message of “developing a creative society and environment for the gifted to exploit their talents in the service of the country”. “The Conference for Higher Education Students is one of the most important events of the year in the Kingdom,” said a Mawhiba representative. “Visitors from all walks of life have come, but most of them are students to whom we can reach out with our message.” The representative said that Mawhiba discovers and sponsors gifted persons through the organization's 2022 vision of “making the Kingdom a creative society with talented, innovative, highly-trained employees that support the transformation into knowledge-based society and achieve sustainable development”.
