Sony Gulf FZE and Modern Electronics Company Ltd. this week launched the 6th edition of Sony Creative Science Awards 2010 for elementary and intermediate students with the cooperation of Ministry of Education. Prince Mohammed Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, President and Chief Executive Officer Al-Faisaliah Group, describing the youth as “our future” said the awards aim to promote creativity among children and to reach out to students from all over the Kingdom. The launching of the award was attended by Tarek Fakieh, Board member of Fakieh Tourism Group and GM of Tazaj Co., Ziad Al-Tunisi, Vice President of Al Faisaliah Group, Bader Al-Swailem, Managing Director of Modern Electronics Company Ltd., Taro Kimura, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Modern Electronics Company Ltd. and the Sony representative in Saudi Arabia. “Our commitment to participate in supporting and discovering talents among Saudi students is part of our responsibility toward our community and country,” said Prince Mohammed Khaled. “We are continuously seeking to discover and develop those creative and talented students, and to empower the Saudi youth to create and show their innovations in diversified fields,” he said.
