V-Kool edges Jeddah Falcon

Kool defeated Jeddah Falcon 88-57 in the JBL-Titan Basketball Tournament at Bin Mafouz basketball court here.
V-Kool played good defense in the final quarter as Jeddah Falcon was doing well up to the third quarter. V-Kool attacked the shaded area for the final kill. Cruz chipped in 15 points for V-Kool and was adjudged as the Titan best player of the game while Baltaza scored 13 points for Jeddah Falcon.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan–Al-Hussaini & Yahya Investment Group with co-sponsors Giordano Fashions, ABS-CBN-The Filipino Channel, RJM Cargo and Al-Haddaf Sports Wear.
Saudi Aramco recorded its third straight by beating beat Nesma Recycle 91-86 in double overtime.
It was a championship atmosphere with team supporters were cheering loudly as the game was a championship match. Nesma Recycle almost won the game but Saudi Aramco held on. Saudi Aramco's scoring machine Aba topscored with 36 points and was adjudged as Giordano Fashions best player of the game while Caberte led Nesma Recycle with 18 points.
On Thursday, Saudi Diyar beat Netjets 80-77. Saudi Diyar displayed its determination in the fourth quarter. With 25 seconds remaining Netjets was leading and coach Boy Parto instructed his players for an inbound play but Saudi Diyar's man-to-man defense intercepted the pass to wrest the lead. Netjets then missed a desperation three-pointer.
Reden Dela Cruz pumped in 20 points and was adjudged as Titan best player of the game while Florez scored 27 points for Netjets.
Intercon Al-Watania Chicken beat Tetra Pak 75-69. A tower of power Medina was unstoppable in the shaded area and showed steady hands in the free throws department also. Intercon Al-Watania run and gun offense was a big success. Medina scored 23 points for the winner and was adjudged as Al-Haddaf best player of the game while JR Viesca and Tabuniar scored 20 points apiece for Tetra Pak. __
