A chimpanzee carries a video camera in a protective case as it climbs in the Budongo Trail enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo, Scotland. For the last eleven months the chimpanzees residing in the Budongo Trail have been taking part in a study called “The Chimpcam Project.” The project, a joint collaboration between the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, University of Stirling and Burning Gold Productions, allows the chimps to shoot their own footage using a chimp-proof camera, experience video streaming for the first time and learn how to use touch screen technology.
