At least five people including four female university students were killed and 11 got injured Saturday when their bus collided head-on with a car near Ghati village on International Road between Al-Quraiyat and Tabarjal. The car driver also died in the collision. Captain Saqr Al-Subailah, head of the Accidents Unit at Al-Quraiyat Traffic Police Department, said that the injured were shifted to the Al-Quraiyat General Hospital for treatment. He said that some of the injured were said to be in critical condition. The students were reportedly on their way to sit their exams in the morning. This road had witnessed a number of fatal accidents in the past as well. The cause of the accidents is said to be the narrowness of the road.
