Floods kill 2 girls in Agusan del Sur

Two young girls were killed after flash floods hit a town in Agusan del Sur province in Mindanao over the weekend, local civil defense officials said Tuesday.
Radio dzXL cited a report from the Office of the Civil Defense in Caraga initially identifying the fatalities as Lovely, 9; and Jolene Encarnacion, 11.
Both fatalities drowned after floods hit their home in Tagapua village in San Francisco town on Sunday afternoonAt least 226 families were evacuated from their homes due to flooding in the Agusan area. including 195 families from Jabonga in Agusan del Norte.
