They toyed with the Suns, who trailed by as many as 39 points a night after losing on a buzzer-beater at Atlanta.

Wizards 92, Kings 86: At Washington, the home side managed to end one of the most dismal, exhausting weeks in team history with a victory, giving coach Flip Saunders his 600th career win by beating Sacramento.
Caron Butler scored 19 points to lead five players in double figures for the Wizards, who on the previous day had their co-captain Gilbert Arenas plead guilty to a felony gun charge and on the previous evening had lost a double-overtime game at Chicago. Washington had lost four straight.

Pistons 94, Knicks 90: At Auburn Hills, Michigan, Rodney Stuckey scored 20 points, Charlie Villanueva added 19, and Detroit beat New York for its third straight victory.
