The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) recently organized a week under the title of ‘Islam in the city.' The week included lectures, exhibitions, workshops, a show on Islamic manuscripts as well as dialogues on Islam in the contemporary world. Dr Nooruddin Miladi, Director of WAMY's office in London, said the organization of the week aimed at enabling the Londoners with Islam and its positive impact on the individual and the society. Lectures delivered during the week aimed at correcting misconceptions about Islam.
