POEA extends balik-manggagawa services

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced Wednesday it is extending its Balik-manggagawa services to serve the oveseas Filipino workers' (OFWs) needs during the yuletide holiday.
Administrator Jennifer Jardin-Manalili said the POEA Balik-manggagawa Processing Center in the POEA main office in Ortigas shall be open on Dec. 26(Saturday) and Dec. 30 (Rizal Day) from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in anticipation of the influx of OFWs after Christmas Day.
Manalili said OFWs staying the provinces may get their exit clearance from the POEA regional offices on regular work days. The regional offices are in San Fernando City, La Union; Baguio City; Clark Field, Pampanga; Calamba City; Legaspi City; Tacloban City; Cebu City; Iloilo City; Bacolod City; Davao City; Cagayan de Oro City; Cagayan de Oro City; and Zamboanga City.
