Pilgrim City in Al-Kharj continues to receive its guests with facilities provided by service administrations and a healthcare center with a medical team on site to deal with emergencies. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs also has a “Call and Guidance” tent offering copies of the Qur'an, books, cassettes and leaflets providing information on the Haj pilgrimage and answering any inquiries from pilgrims. Groups of scouts are also engaged at the site to provide food and water and cleaning services for guests.
