Investigators have said that they do not suspect foul play in the death of an unidentified male whose semi-decomposed body was found in a plastic barrel by passersby in the Al-Jami'a District of Jeddah last Monday. Police maintain their initial speculation, reported by Saudi Gazette Tuesday, that the man's death may have been due to “natural causes” and then dumped by persons living in the Kingdom illegally who feared police questioning. Police are now seeking to locate the persons who discarded the corpse in the barrel and are working with consulates and other authorities to identify the deceased.
