Authorities in the region also seized 21,000kg of qat, 3,400 narcotics pills, and 1,382 kg of hashish over the same period. – Okaz/SG Thief confesses By Hiba Al-Zahir AL-AHSA – A man of Asian nationality has been arrested in Al-Mubarraz charged with stealing SR21,000 from the cash till of a clothes shop. Police said the 30-year-old had admitted to the act and returned the stolen sum, while his confession is in the process of being certified as part of legal proceedings. – Okaz/SG Car crushed By Abdul Hadi Al-Sama'eil AL-AHSA – Rescue services were called to a street in Al-Ahsa Sunday after the 10-meter perimeter wall of a house opposite a technical college collapsed as students exited from their classes. Official using search equipment feared that bodies may have been concealed by the rubble, but inspections revealed that the only damage resulting from the incident was a crushed vehicle that had been parked in the shadow of the structure. – Okaz/SG Teen hangs himself By Fahd Al-Mureikhi AL-KHAFJI – An 18-year-old man detained for joyriding hanged himself with a plastic water pipe in the toilets at a Traffic Police station in Al-Khafji. Forensic investigators are working with authorities to establish the motives behind the incident.
