Jotun Paints, one of the world's leading producers and suppliers of paints and coatings, has announced that it has bagged a sizeable deal to deliver its top-range floor coating solution to the ‘Qatar National Convention Centre' (QNCC), a development that is set to become the largest purpose built convention centre in the Middle East. The project involves the coating of the convention centre's 140,000 sq. meter- car parking floor area using the ‘Jotafloor Traffic Deck System', a high performance coating system designed specifically to protect concrete floors exposed to vehicular traffic. Combining the latest glass flake reinforced epoxy and polyurethane technology, the ‘Jotafloor Traffic Deck System' can be tailor-made to suit floors in car parks, walkways, ramps and external traffic decks.
