Twelve persons injured in the Kuwait fire this week arrived here Wednesday aboard four medical evacuation planes. They include ten women. Family members of the injured fire victims thanked King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for his noble gesture of offering them treatment in the Kingdom. The only arriving male said he saw the fire breaking out in the women's tent and rushed to rescue his wife, Aida Abdullah, 26, and other female relatives. His mother died in the fire while his wife suffered 45 degree burns and has difficulty in breathing after inhaling a lot of smoke. Aida would be treated at the National Guards Hospital here. Meanwhile, Dr. Khalid Marghalani, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health has said those arriving from Kuwait would receive treatment in King Saud Medical Complex here and in hospitals in Eastern Province.
