Police were called to break up a fight that broke out Saturday night between two teams of competitors in a Tug-of-War being held for the region's Summer Festival. While the cause of the clash was not revealed, eye witnesses reported that considerable consternation was caused at the nearby children's amusement park, where frightened families feared for their children at the sound of the raucous disturbance. A police spokesman said that those involved in the disturbance were taken to a local police station where their issues were later resolved amicably.
