A team of divers from the Frontier Guard supported by two marine patrols and a hovercraft combed the waters at the location and the area surrounding the place where she was last seen. According to an eyewitness, the girl got down from the family car and entered the waters – where swimming is forbidden – before disappearing out of site. One of the divers working with search and rescue teams as light faded on Wednesday evening described the chances of finding the young woman as “slim”.
