Police seized 82 quad bikes on Tuesday from persons unlicensed to rent them out for use at Jeddah's Corniche beach. The vehicles were confiscated after police made night raids on various holdings in districts close to the seafront. The move came out of concern for public safety, according to police, as owners would use their vehicles to flee from the authorities, putting members of the public at risk.
