Deputy Minster of Education for Girls Affairs Noura Al-Fayez has reiterated that she was not against the introduction of physical education (PE) in girls schools. She said an integrated plan is being worked out to introduce PE in girls schools. Noura said she had decided to receive questions in writing through fax or e-mail to make sure that she was not being misquoted. She took this action after she was misquoted in a section of the press. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Civil Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Education is scheduled to announce 10,000 vacancies for lady teachers next week. More than 250,000 female university graduates from different regions of the Kingdom are expected to apply for these jobs. The Ministry of Civil Service has asked applicants to submit their applications electronically through its website HYPERLINK “http://www.mcs.gov.sa” www.mcs.gov.sa.
