The Ministry of Health on Thursday emphasized that the medical tests performed so far for the companions and friends of the Filipina nurse, an employee of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh who has recently been identified to have become Saudi Arabia's first person to have contracted swine flu, have been found negative. Also negative reports have come in for tests for suspect passengers supposed to have reached Saudi Arabia from swine flu-infected countries. In a statement, the Ministry of Health confirmed that it has taken all necessary measures to keep the country free from swine flu, noting that advanced means of detecting the epidemic are applied inside and at the entry points of the country.
