With directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, and with supervision from Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Saudi National Campaign for the Aid of the Lebanese people, the Zakat Fund of the Akkar region in northern Lebanon has begun distributing financial aid to some 1,800 Lebanese families. The fund is also heading out olive oil cans to some 1,400 families, as well as orphans, widows and the elderly.
