The first Intellectual Security Conference is to be launched on May 18 at King Saud University under the patronage of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The university's Prince Naif Chair for Intellectual Security Studies is organizing the event. Chair supervisor Khaled Al-Durais said it would help instill the concept of intellectual security in the light of Islamic teachings, and detect and analyze challenges and obstructions facing intellectual security.
