The Haj Committee in Madina has begun accepting license applications for pilgrim accommodation buildings, Mohammad Al-No'man, secretary of the committee has announced. More than 300 premises with 370 beds are expected to receive licenses, Al-No'man said. Some licenses have already been approved for premises complying with regulations. Al-No'man said the committee started considering applications in February and noted the tardiness of some applicants in presenting paperwork. “The committee will strictly apply the terms of the new bylaw, including fines,” he said.
